Effective from January 31, 2010, CHT R. BEITLICH GMBH based in Tübingen acquired 100% of the shares from the owners of Alpina Technische Produkte GmbH.

Alpina Technische Produkte GmbH based in Geretsried is manufacturer of speciality silicones in the form of highly viscous silicone elastomers designed for various industrial applications.

CHT R. BEITLICH GMBH is a global acting manufacturer of specialty chemicals and also headquarters of the CHT/BEZEMA group. The consolidated sales of CHT/BEZEMA group totalled 271 Mio EURO in 2009.

Today CHT/BEZEMA group offers within the business field Performance Chemicals a wide range of silicone specialities for various industrial applications.

The acquisition of Alpina Technische Produkte GmbH enables CHT R. BEITLICH GMBH to further expand their silicone portfolio and provide a platform for a sustainable growth within new market and product segments.

Both parties agreed on a non-disclosure of the sales price.
