Polyamide, polyester or polypropylene filaments are produced with constantly rising spinning speeds. The resulting increasing increase in preparation requirements of preparation is a challenge for the technical and scientific team, leading to constant, consistent product development.

Polyester staple fibres for rotor spinning with rotor speeds > 100,000 rpm require special protection against tribo-thermic damage.

Polyamide staple fibres are especially susceptible to migration and therefore made special demands of the migration stability of the spinning preparations used. Non-woven materials made of hydrophobic polypropylene fibres must demonstrate multiple hydrophilic properties and be wettable for application in hygiene areas.

In this case the preparation is not just a process aid but also remains on the material as a final finishing agent and additionally has to fulfil expectations regarding physiological suitability.
